Phase A—In main vessel with mixing, disperse xanthan gum in water. Add Endinol Mild B-SF65A. Heat to 65°C. Phase B—In a separate vessel, heat and mix phase B to 65°C to 70°C. Phase C—At 60°C, add phase C to phase B. When phases A and BC reach temperature, add phase BC to phase A. Increase speed as needed; avoid introducing air. Phase D - Maintain temperature and slowly add phase D to phase ABC. The solution will appear discontinuous; allow the solution to wet out completely until uniform. Discontinue heat and allow phase ABCD to cool. Phase E—At 40°C, add phase E to phase ABCD. Transfer to holding vessel. Product will continue to thicken.
pH—5.5 to 7.5; Viscosity—Spindle 5@20 = 15,000 – 18,000 cps.
